Members of the public are encouraged to bring their energy bills with them for an in-person consultation with energy consultants on different options for saving energy in their home.

Westport Credit Union will also be available for people who want to know more about their green loans for energy retrofits and electric vehicles.

“We have all become aware recently of how much energy we use and how much it costs,” says Feena Kirrkamm of West SEC.

“This event will give people the opportunity to assess their options for reducing their energy and how it can be done as part of a community-wide effort.”

The Westport Energy Master Plan launch will take place between 5.30pm and 8pm with the presentation of the plan starting at 6pm
