Exclusive: Chelsea youngster Bryan Fiabema set for loan from Forest Green as Blues sanction late wave of moves

Helsea Academy striker Bryan Fiabema has agreed a season-long loan at Forest Green after his spell at Rosenborg was cut short.

The 19-year-old Norway international is traveling for his medical to join the Ligue 1 club before the transfer window closes at 11pm tonight.

This follows a disappointing spell in the Norwegian top flight, but the youngster has still managed two goals and two assists in 13 games since his first loan spell for a taste of men’s football in January.

There are still high hopes for the striker who was signed from Tromso in 2020 for around £500,000.

He is part of a series of loan moves for the club’s young players who are overseen by academy director Neil Bath.

Ethan Ampadu is in Italy to complete a temporary move to Serie A side Spezia, while full-back Dujon Sterling is undergoing a medical at Stoke City ahead of a season-long loan deal.

Xavier Simons’ loan move to Hull City has been announced, striker Jayden Wareham is in advanced talks with Leyton Orient over a similar move and attacking midfielder Joe Haigh will join Derby County on loan.

Elsewhere, Xavier Mbuyamba left FC Volendam on a permanent deal and signed a three-year contract.

A loan move for Chelsea full-back Dylan Williams has been muted but he is likely to stay at the club.
